The Claudet Family Tree

Registered with the Live Oak Society, The Bouverans Oak measures between 25 and 27 feet in girth. According to this professional organization, our old oak tree predates the construction of the our historic home and it is estimated to be over 300 years old. It’s an enormous and beautiful old tree with a long history spanning many generations.

The Bouverans Oak is featured on The Lafourche Live Oak Tour, created through the generous support of Louisiana’s Cajun Bayou Tourism. 

During your stay, enjoy the shade of this old oak tree. A picnic table sits under the canopy, providing you a great spot to enjoy an outdoor picnic with the ones you love.
